Art Journaling is a sweet place to find what is waiting to be expressed, explored, and enjoyed.  We love to offer this space in a variety of ways.
This group is a space of exploration of tools and art mediums, as well as a way to allow yourself to settle into a creative space and practice that supports your specific needs and desires. Art making tends to lead us to places that bring up meaning, feelings of joy and peace, playfulness and curiosity, and offer support for parts of us that are hurting. We hope you will join us for this expansive experience.

    Art Journaling for Teens

Art Therapy is a fun and supportive modality for teens and offers a unique space for many developmental and emotional needs. Creating is a need because it supports our brain in processing and expressing information that can get stuck on repeat and feel overwhelming. Once we spill out the content, there is alot of freedom and room to discover what is there and make sense of it, as well as feel relief.

This 6 week group is an intro to Art Journaling that offers your teen space to explore and experiment with art tools and prompts to support their daily life!

Each person will get a new art journal and will learn ways to use it that fit their specific unique creative and emotional needs.

Time: 6 weeks, 1 hour each

    • Cost: $85/session; or $510 total
      • This group has a one time $20 supply cost. Once you sign up, we will charge you for supplies to hold your spot.

      Art Journaling for Grief

Grief is a complex layered process and often feels dark and endless.

This Art Journaling group gives some space and tools to the non-verbal needs of grief. Each week, there will be room to explore and express pieces of grief that relate and allow them space to be emptied out into an art journal. No creative experience is required for this process oriented group.  The goal is not to leave with something pretty and finished, but to give space for grief to be expressed and validated.

Time: 6 weeks, 1 hour each

      • Cost: $85/session; or $510 total
        • This group has a one time $20 supply cost. Once you sign up, we will charge you for supplies to hold your spot.

        Art Journaling for Addiction Recovery

This 4-week group will make space for anyone working through addiction recovery. Each group will learn and orient to a specific part of recovery work and then take time to create in response to that part. Art journaling is accessible for any skill level or interest (no need to be an “artist” to join). This process naturally allows for increased distress tolerance and shame resilience: two important factors in sustainable and successful recovery.

        The four weeks will explore:

        • Radical Honesty
        • Craving & Ritual
        • Relapse & Failure
        • Sobriety & Connection

We will explore the addiction cycle, relapse cycle, and the recovery cycle to notice the many ways that this reality happens and how it impacts us and the people we love. This group is not specific to a certain kind of addiction – but instead open to anyone that is being honest about their compulsive & ongoing numbing behaviors and curious about showing up differently. This group won’t be structured like a typical 12-step recovery meeting. Expect to come and be curious about your addiction & recovery and explore, notice, give room for, and create the ways these things show up in your felt experience.

        Time:

        6 weeks, 1 hour each

        • Cost: $85/week; or $510 total
          • This group has a one time $20 supply cost. Once you sign up, we will charge you for supplies to hold your spot.
