Emilee Henriquez
Licensed Professional Counselor

Hi, I’m Emilee.
If you’re tired, stretched thin, or feel like you’re just getting through the days instead of actually living them, I’d love to help.
A lot of us learn to push through hard stuff to survive hard moments, and it works, until it doesn’t. I help people slow down, figure out what’s actually going on underneath the stress or the sadness or the anxiety, and find their way back to feeling like themselves again.
We’ll talk, but we might also draw, listen to music, or use movement. Feeling better isn’t just about understanding what’s going on, it requires your brain and body to actually process it. Music, movement, and art give us other ways to express and release what words alone sometimes can’t.
What do you wish someone would have told you before you stepped into your first therapy session?
“You don’t have to have the right words or know what’s “wrong.” Be open, stay curious, and trust the process. Your therapist is only a guide. Eventually, you’ll find your own solutions to your problems.” – Emilee
About Emilee
I got my master’s degree in counseling from Grand Canyon University, and I’ve been a full-time therapist since 2021. I’m also pursuing a doctorate in performance psychology, the study of helping people heal so they can function at their best, even under pressure. I’m a proud Latina therapist and the daughter of Salvadoran immigrants, and that’s shaped how I show up for people from all kinds of backgrounds.
