There’s more to therapy than talking.

We believe good therapy makes room for the whole person—the things you can put into words and the things you can’t quite explain yet.

Our therapists are relational, creative, and highly trained, bringing different specialties, approaches, and ways of working into the room. Good therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all. The work should be thoughtful, intentional, and responsive to the person sitting in the room.

HOW WE DO THERAPY

Good therapy is more than a set of techniques. Our therapists draw from different approaches based on their training, your needs, and the work you’re doing together.

You don’t need to know which kind of therapy you need before you start. That’s something you and your therapist can figure out together.

Some of the ways we work include:

Art Therapy→
EMDR→
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Sensorimotor Art Therapy→
Sand Tray + Play Therapy→
Exposure + Response Prevention (ERP)
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
Gottman Method
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Somatic Approaches
Psychodrama

GROUP THERAPY

Healing happens together.

We believe in the power of group therapy—and research supports it. Healing alongside others can decrease shame and isolation, increase connection and belonging, and create opportunities to practice new ways of relating in real time.

Some things are simply different when we don’t have to do them alone.

Our small therapy groups offer focused therapeutic work around different needs, experiences, and stages of life. Group offerings change throughout the year. Explore Current Therapy Groups →

PAYING FOR THERAPY

The Well is a private-pay therapy practice and does not bill insurance directly. Depending on your plan, you may be able to use out-of-network benefits for reimbursement.

We also accept HSA/FSA and are ESA vendors.

We often partner with The Hope Foundation to use scholarship funds to help with the cost of therapy.

SESSION FEES

Session fees vary based on therapist experience, licensure, and service.

Graduate Interns — $50
Associate Therapists — $120–$140
Independently Licensed Therapists — $150–$200

Each therapist’s current rate is listed on their individual profile, so you’ll know what to expect before getting started.

A NOTE ON ACCESS TO CARE

We believe access to good therapy is something a community can help carry. A portion of our work is intentionally reserved for lower-fee care when space is available.

The Well was founded with this commitment at its heart: to see Mesa flourish and make meaningful care more accessible in our community.
