MIXED MEDIA + ART JOURNALING

Explore mixed media and art journaling with professional mixed media artist Cambriel Keegan. Play with a variety of materials, learn art-journaling techniques, and experiment with prompts and processes designed to spark curiosity and your own creative voice.
All materials included + you’ll receive your own art journal + resources to take home.
SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 12TH
INTRO TO STAINED GLASS
with Emilee Henriquez
Saturday · September 12 · 10am–1pm
Join Emilee for a hands-on introduction to stained glass. In this 3 hour class, you’ll learn the fundamentals of the craft (cutting glass, foiling edges, and soldering pieces together) while creating your own stained glass butterfly suncatcher to take home, complete with a chain for hanging. No experience necessary; all skill levels welcome.
All materials are provided (supply fee is included into your cost for sign up!)

A little about the people bringing their creative practices into the Studio.

Cambriel Keegan is a painter and mixed media artist residing in Phoenix, AZ. Cambriel creates art as a reflection of inner truth—an invitation to pause, remember, and reconnect with what is most authentic within us. Her work often takes the form of exaggerated, uncoventional and expressive portraits that celebrate differences, imperfections and individuality. Cambriel is a passionate advocate for creative expression, and believes that art belongs to everyone–it is our birthright. To make art is to remember who we are, to trust ourselves and to take up space. Her work is an invitation to paint with your gut, follow what feels true and let the work become what it needs to be. Making art is a powerful human act of connection. Cambriel aims to challenge perfectionism and the strange beauty of being human.
Emilee Henriquez is a mixed media artist working primarily with texture, emotion, and material storytelling.
Emilee says, “I came to stained glass for the light. There’s a particular kind of alchemy in it: flat, ordinary glass that does almost nothing on a table suddenly comes alive the moment the sun moves through it, throwing color across a room that wasn’t there a second before. I love that the medium is slow and exacting. The cutting, the foiling, the soldering all ask for patience and a steady hand, and there’s no rushing a piece into being. For me, it’s a meditative practice as much as an art form. I get to work with my hands, lose track of time, and end up with something that holds light and gives it back.”
Emilee teaches with that same care, helping students discover the medium’s alchemy: turning fragments of glass into something whole.

Sarah Warner is an abstract artist, life enthusiast, and color lover. Her paintings are built in layers: soft atmospheric fields, expressive marks, drips, grids, and flashes of saturated color that feel both joyful and grounded.
Her practice has been shaped through the Milan Art Institute Mastery Program, where artists develop technical skill, personal voice, a cohesive portfolio, and the business foundations to share their work professionally.
Her work is made for collectors who want a room to feel alive without losing its sense of ease.
Cristal is a film photographer and multidisciplinary artist drawn to analog processes, thoughtful observation, and the beauty of making things by hand.
Inspired by light, texture, color, and the often-overlooked moments of everyday life, she creates work that feels both nostalgic and deeply present. Her creative practice extends beyond photography into cyanotype, printmaking, and other tactile forms of artmaking. Cristal brings a warm, approachable spirit to her workshops, inviting others to slow down, experiment, and discover the joy of creating without the pressure to make something perfect.
